Qualifications

• A successful candidate will be mechanically inclined.
• Physical activities include lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, standing, climbing or walking.
• Safely use various manual, power and safety tools common to maintenance.
• Handle commonly used chemicals per SOPs and SDS.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors and production machines.
• Locates sources of problems by observing equipment in operation and using precision measuring tools.
• Removes defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
• Inspects parts with calipers and micrometers to determine changes in dimensions.
• Adjusts devices using hand tools and levels; informs production of preventive techniques.
• Fabricates repair parts using shop instrumentation.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and complies with regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment.
• Work authorization: legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
