Job summary

Gateway Industrial Power, Incorporated is hiring a refrigeration technician in Nashville, TN. The role involves mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs at the shop and on customer sites, along with preventative maintenance and proper documentation for billing.

Qualified applicants will have 2+ years of refrigeration or diesel mechanic experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain DOT certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' refrigeration or diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Technical Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs in the shop and at customer locations.
• Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and update the customer on needed repairs.
• Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Complete required documentation for work order files and customer billing.
• Other duties as assigned
