Job summary

Gateway Industrial Power, Incorporated in De Forest, WI is seeking a qualified refrigeration technician/diesel mechanic. You will perform mechanical repairs on refrigeration units and APUs at the shop and customer sites while completing preventive maintenance and accurate documentation for work orders and billing.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience. DOT certification and a valid driver's license are encouraged, with company-paid training

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a refrigeration tech or diesel mechanic preferred.
• Ability to obtain & maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) Technical Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs of refrigeration units and APUs in the shop and at customer locations.
• Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and update the customer on needed repairs.
• Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Complete required documentation for work order files and customer billing.
• Other duties as assigned.
