Job summary

Gateway Industrial Power, Incorporated in Wright City, MO, is seeking a Diesel Truck Technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks. You will diagnose issues, test equipment, and document repairs with attention to warranty work.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid license, and 2+ years of experience; CDL is a plus, with opportunities for advancement and company-paid Volvo training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license; CDL beneficial but not required.
• 2+ years' experience as a Diesel Truck Technician or similar position preferred.
• Ability to obtain & maintain DOT Technical Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs on medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks.
• Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or ensure proper operation.
• Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, motor analyzers, temperature and pressure gauges.
• Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order.
• Keep work area clean and safe.

Job Duties:

• Perform mechanical repairs on medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks
