Job summary

Sysco is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to support our Illinois facility. You will perform inspections and preventive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems, ensure product integrity through temperature controls, and troubleshoot HVAC equipment.

The role requires 4 years of industrial HVAC/R experience, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant certifications (EPA, RETA CARO/CIRO, HAZWOPER, CDL/Defensive driving).

Qualifications

• Four years of industrial HVAC/R experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance of refrigeration storage equipment.
• Troubleshoot ammonia central systems and control/alarm systems.
• Maintain and monitor HVAC, electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Ensure product integrity through temperature monitoring and control.
• Complete documentation in CMMS with accuracy and timeliness.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
