Job summary

Sysco Chicago is seeking a Refrigeration Technician II responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of industrial ammonia systems and HVAC systems. This full-time role includes a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 and a compensation range of $27.93 - $41.88 per hour depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of relevant experience and various certifications, ensuring maintenance compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have four years of industrial HVAC/R experience or equivalent education.
• Certification in Universal EPA and RETA CIRO required.
• Experience with anhydrous ammonia (R717) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Conduct inspections and repair as necessary.
• Log maintenance activities in the CMMS.
