Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, text, or schematic drawings to determine component requirements.
• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Assemble and mount electrical wiring, coils, controls, and recording devices.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts using drill, screwdriver, and related tools.
• Identify power and hand tools used on the product line.
• Perform assembly-type functions with hand or power tools.
• Use dimensioning information for material gauging and layout.
• Read rulers, tape measures, and other measuring instruments.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets, or fasteners.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
