Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an Assembler II for Final Assembly at our Keosauqua, Iowa facility. You will complete refrigeration cases per specs, assemble sub-assemblies, install components, wiring, and top lights, following work orders and BOMs.

Ideal candidates are team players with strong manual skills, comfortable with measuring tools, and able to work at multiple stations with safety as a priority. This is a first-shift, hourly role with potential incentive commissions.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Identify parts used on the product line and their placement.
• Identify power and hand tools for the product line.
• Perform assembly using hand or power tools.
• Identify parts by description using work order information.
• Use material gauging and dimensioning information.
• Read rulers, tape measures, squares, and other measuring tools.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Identify maintenance needs on equipment and tooling.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.
• Use safety equipment as required for the operation.
