Job summary

CoolSys is hiring Refrigeration Start-up Technicians in Georgia to lead start-up and energy optimization projects across supermarket refrigeration systems. You will install, wire, program EMS, and commission parallel rack systems with CO2 considerations while collaborating with field teams.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, EMS expertise, and a valid driver’s license. Travel and overtime are possible to support store projects within the CoolSys network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of supermarket EMS systems.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration; especially with parallel rack systems (CO2 a plus).
• EPA I and II Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform evacuations of parallel racks after verifying pressure tests.
• Perform EMS wiring and programming for all EMS manufacturers.
• Perform full start-up of new parallel refrigeration systems and individual systems.
• Lead small projects such as single case and condenser changeouts.
• Assist with EO projects including retro-commissioning and EMS upgrades.
• Work with local branch Service and Construction Managers to support stores and train junior technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
