Tyson Foods is hiring for a first-shift maintenance position in the United States. The role involves painting, labeling, and general building maintenance while upholding Tyson safety policies and proper record-keeping. You will work closely with the P.S.M.

Coordinator and handle duties as assigned. Requirements include lifting up to 70 pounds, standing up to 12 hours, Lock Out Tag Out and respirator/Hazmat certifications, and HVAC/ammonia experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass Level 4 Hazmat and Respirator certification.
• 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or related education in the last 12 months.
• HVAC and/or ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
• Ability to work around ammonia and in hazardous environments.

Responsabilités

• Paint, label, and perform general building maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with the P.S.M. Coordinator to maintain safety and Tyson policies.
• Maintain accurate records and attention to detail during shifts.

Job Details

Starting Pay: $22.15 (pay based on level of experience) Schedule: M-F 6:00a-4:00p This position is for painting, labeling, and general building maintenance. This position will be responsible for working with the P.S.M. Coordinator while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Accurate record keeping and attention to detail is required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly during shift.
• Ability to stand on hard surface for up 12 hours per day.
• Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping.
• Frequent overhead work.
• Position will require to have Lock Out Tag Out certification.
• Must be able to work around ammonia.
• Must possess at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience within the last 12 months or education (i.e. possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.
• Preferred 6 months of HVAC and/or ammonia refrigeration experience.
• Must be able to pass all requirements needed to be Level 4 Hazmat and Respirator certified and maintain this certification.

Rehire Consideration: Max of two (2) previous Tyson Employments to be considered for hire. 180 days (6 months) waiting period.
