Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in Three Rivers, MI. You will support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems across Walmart facilities, using commercial HVAC skills and a range of hand and power tools in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with OSHA/EPA guidelines, and responsive emergency maintenance support. Applicants must have 2+ years in commercial HVAC/R and EPA certification, with a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 18+ years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC tools.
• Utilize work orders to document repair activities and support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
