Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support our local store facilities in Michigan. You will maintain and repair Refrigeration HVAC equipment, respond to emergencies, and document activities using our work order system.

The role requires 2+ years in commercial refrigeration HVAC, EPA certification for refrigerants, and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR. Physical work includes lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Receive and document repair Work Orders using the work order system.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
