Walmart in Novi, MI is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment across Walmart facilities. The role uses commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, large-scale rack refrigeration experience, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
