Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our Lansing, MI store. You will support and oversee repairs of Refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC skills and a variety of tools to complete jobs.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification, a valid driver’s license, and a High School Diploma or equivalent. You may lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per the Walmart safety policy and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
