Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Refrigeration Service Technician to maintain and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment. You will work with rack systems, walk-ins, ice machines, and a range of HVAC gear.

The role requires 5 years of relevant experience and a current Universal CFC certification, plus ability to read and follow instructions, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass a background check and drug screen. This is an on-site position with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience maintaining similar commercial equipment with Universal CFC certification.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, replace, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial/industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Work with rack systems, walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, and HVAC equipment including rooftops.
• Diagnose refrigeration circuits, superheating, subcooling, and TXV/Orifice operations.
• Perform leak checks and solder/braze pipe.
• Maintain safety per OSHA NFPA 70e and PPE standards.
• Coordinate with Dispatch to ensure timely workload completion.
