Job summary

GFL Environmental Services is seeking a Warehouse/Loader associate to support loading, unloading, staging, and general housekeeping in an industrial refinery environment. You will follow safe work practices, maintain documentation, and assist with basic material handling tasks and equipment operation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in a plant or truck unloading/loading setting, and training on material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of warehouse/industrial material handling and safety practices.
• Understanding of basic shipping/receiving documentation.
• Safety mindset.
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with product loading/unloading, staging, and general housekeeping.
• Follow safe work practices and site traffic controls.
• Use basic tools (pipe wrench, crowbar, pliers, screwdrivers).
• Calculate levels in tanks using basic math.
• Monitor loading/unloading operations while pumps move product.
• Monitor incoming/outgoing trucks and related materials.
• Complete basic shipping/receiving documentation.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift) as trained.
• Adhere to OSHA 29 standards.
