GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a General Laborer to safely perform general labor duties at hauling facilities, transfer stations, MRFs, or landfills. Responsibilities include yard cleanup, fueling vehicles, basic vehicle operation, and site maintenance.

The role requires the ability to perform routine tasks outdoors, operate equipment, and adhere to safety procedures. A GED or high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory; applicants must meet safety standards and may be asked to work in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired but not required.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria according to Company standards.

Responsabilités

• Clean up work areas
• Fuel vehicles and equipment
• Clean tracks on track type and related equipment
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick up
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, etc.
• Work in accordance with Company and federal, state/provincial and local safety policies & procedures
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
