Job summary

GAF is seeking a Material Handler to safely load and unload trucks, perform order picking, verification, and pallet assembly. The role emphasizes safety, quality, service, and cost control while supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should hold a HS diploma or GED, have 2 years of logistics experience, and be able to work shifts including nights/weekends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED completed.
• 2 years’ experience in a fast paced logistics environment.
• Experience supporting logistics, customer care and business goals.
• Ability to work all shifts including occasional nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and follow warehouse procedures.
• Assist with cycle counting events and inventory deadlines.
• Load/unload shipments and prepare pallets for transport.
• Verify packing slips, review product counts, and ensure FIFO accuracy.
• Communicate issues with Logistics Planner and Supervisors.
• Follow SOPs and JSA; maintain housekeeping and safety.
