Job summary

Phillips 66 Company seeks a Sr Project Manager I at Ferndale Refinery to lead small- to mid-scale projects, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance and Technical teams to ensure safe, efficient execution.

You will develop feasibility studies, manage resources and costs, and guide projects from FEL 0/1 through Detailed Design with an EPC project, while mitigating risks and staying compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of project development, engineering, or coordination experience.
• 5+ years in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
• Field experience in construction-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small- to medium-scale projects within established program plans.
• Lead project stakeholders, including colleagues from multiple departments and vendors.
• Develop and evaluate project plans and feasibility studies for design, improvement and maintenance.
• Manage resources, costs, forecasts and variances with clear narratives at reviews.
• Oversee a group of small projects from FEL 0/1 through Detailed Design with an EPC project.
• Assess solution soundness, feasibility testing and validation.
• Provide insight into process and system design and identify risks.
• Support field and site activities and ensure alignment with standards.
• Follow health, safety and environmental policies and mitigate risks.
