Job summary
Phillips 66 is seeking a Senior Engineer, Process Integrity, to investigate complex technical problems and translate advanced characterization, troubleshooting, and modeling into practical solutions that support the reliability of refining, midstream, and renewable assets.
You will lead projects, mentor colleagues, and apply corrosion, materials science, and analytical techniques, with experience in refinery chemistry and AI-enabled analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Corrosion Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in applied technical work, troubleshooting, or problem solving in refining or petrochemical settings.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in refinery or petrochemical process chemistry, materials, corrosion, fouling, or failure analysis.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to apply testing to real problems; design and execute experiments; translate results into practical recommendations.
- Lead portfolio of projects, manage resources and schedules across sites.
- Analyze data to identify trends and root causes, translating findings into actionable actions.
