Job summary

Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Construction Manager to provide constructability input, estimate, plan and manage field execution of refinery construction activities for multiple small to mid-capital projects. Projects range from $20MM to $100MM and cover piping, control rooms, modular buildings, mechanical systems, and rotating equipment.

You will work within the Construction Services Group and partner with Turnaround teams to meet safety and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating, scheduling, cost control and field execution.
• Experience planning projects or turnarounds and translating plans to field execution.
• Climb structures and inspect equipment at high altitudes and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and managing pre-turnaround, turnaround and post-turnaround field activities.
• Manage capital projects using knowledge of construction and industry standards.
• Manage field activities for capital projects or turnarounds, or shutdowns.
• Projects related to turnarounds or shutdowns may require extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
