Delek US Holdings is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our refinery operations. The role provides technical support for fixed and rotating equipment, evaluates performance, and drives reliability improvements across maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 2+ years of refining experience, with a strong emphasis on safety, process safety management, and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience in refining, petrochemical processing, or similar continuous-process industry.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or PE licensure preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide mechanical engineering support for refinery fixed and rotating equipment, including pressure vessels, piping, heat exchangers, fired heaters, and pumps.
• Evaluate equipment performance, degradation, and failures; lead root-cause analyses and develop corrective actions.
• Support the refinery mechanical integrity program with inspection findings, fitness-for-service, remaining-life evaluations, and repair plans.
• Develop scopes of work, technical specs, equipment data sheets, calculations, cost estimates, and design packages for maintenance and capital projects.
• Provide field support during outages, repairs, installation, commissioning, startup, and testing in operating units.
• Ensure designs comply with refinery procedures, Process Safety Management requirements, environmental and safety regulations, and relevant API/ASME/ANSI/ASTM/NB standards.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, Reliability, Process Engineering, procurement, contractors, and vendors to execute work safely and efficiently.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers, inspectors, technicians, and maintenance personnel as assigned.
