Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Specialist III, Health & Safety in Borger, TX to develop and monitor health and safety programs, maintain field presence, and coach teams on safe work practices. The role emphasizes incident investigation, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement across the site.

The position requires strong field experience, data-driven insights, and the ability to work across operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to reduce risk and strengthen our safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of safety experience in Refining, Petro-Chem, PSM-regulated or related industry.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety programs.
• Maintain field presence to observe work and coach safe practices.
• Investigate incidents and trends; drive corrective actions.
• Manage audits, inspections, and program evaluations; ensure findings are resolved.
• Serve as SME and owner for safety programs and site policies (MOC, PSSR).
• Support emergency preparedness and response with Incident Command System monitoring.
