Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field required or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of referral experience in a healthcare setting
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role leading a team
• Experience with web-based insurance sites and referrals/authorizations for multiple payors
• Healthcare experience with Medicare Advantage preferred
• Experience analyzing large data sets to improve performance

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises a team of Care Coordinators and Lead Care Coordinators to ensure quality referral management and exceptional patient experience
• Hires, onboarding, coaching and conducts performance reviews
• Oversees daily operations and ensures adherence to standards and procedures
• Monitors metrics and drives continuous improvement and accountability
• Leads team huddles, trainings and process improvements
• Ensures timely and compliant referral processing and service recovery when needed
