Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Referral Representative I to handle all facets of Referral Testing from intake to result reporting. The role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a pay range of $17.76 - $26.64 per hour.

The position includes focus on accurate specimen processing, problem resolution, and client communication. Candidates should have 1–2 years of clinical laboratory experience and strong data entry, MS Office, and LIS skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to two years clinical laboratory experience.
• Customer service and/or medical background preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Handle all internal and external customer contact regarding Referral Testing.
• Receive, resolve and follow up with complex customer issues.
• Act as liaison between internal and external customers and Referral vendors.
• Retrieve, sort and process specimens for shipment to referral laboratories.
• Prepare specimens and packages for shipment according to IATA regulations.
• Report laboratory results using established protocols.
• Contact clients to resolve routine or medical/technical matters related to patient testing.
