Prosser Memorial Health in Prosser, WA is seeking an experienced Referral Coordinator to verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and ensure referrals for office visits, procedures, and testing are properly authorized and scheduled. The role includes appointment coordination, patient communication, and patient registration.

Work collaboratively with departments to ensure complete patient information is available electronically, monitor loop closures, and track attendance and consultation notes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year medical experience with insurance verification or referral authorization.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and adapt to change.

Responsabilités

• Check insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations for outgoing referrals.
• Ensure referrals for visits, procedures, and testing are authorized and scheduled.
• Coordinate appointments and communicate with patients; register patients.
• Monitor referrals for loop closure and confirm attendance and notes.
