Job summary

Prosser Memorial Health is seeking a Referral Coordinator to verify benefits and obtain prior authorizations for outgoing specialist visits, procedures, and testing. You will ensure referrals are authorized and scheduled, coordinate appointments, and register new patients, while maintaining clear patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Check insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations for outgoing specialist visits, procedures, and testing.
• Ensure all incoming referrals for office visits, procedures, and testing are authorized and scheduled.
• Coordinate appointments, communicate with patients, and register new patients.
• Monitor referrals for loop closure; determine attendance and whether notes have been received or sent.
