Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Two years of experience in medical referrals or other related medical patient support functions in a healthcare setting.
• Two or more years of experience with Electronic Health Record.

Responsibilities

• Manage referral staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating performance and competency, and disciplinary sessions as needed.
• Optimize referral workflows and staff productivity using analytical thinking and clinical knowledge.
• Reports directly to the assigned Regional Director of Referral Management.
• Ensure current and standardized referral policies and workflows are followed by staff.
• Lead team members by providing guidance, feedback, and training on multiple processes.
• Resolve authorization issues and scheduling problems by communicating with clinical staff.
• Maintain high quality, service, and efficiency standards in the referral program.
