SENTA Partners seeks a dedicated Referral Coordinator to support our allergy and immunology referrals in Texas. You will manage incoming and outgoing referrals, coordinate scheduling, and verify patient insurance to ensure timely access to care.

As the main liaison among referring providers, patients, and insurers, you will maintain records, obtain prior authorizations, and support efficient practice operations while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Understanding referral workflows and HIPAA privacy rules.
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and related tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage patient referrals, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies to obtain necessary referral information.
• Schedule appointments for referred patients and provide them with necessary information regarding their visits.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all referrals and related documentation.
• Follow up with patients and providers to ensure completion of the referral process.
