Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a clinical setting.
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with clinic software.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review referral requests from PCPs and other providers.
• Verify insurance and eligibility for referred patients.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments with specialist providers.
• Communicate appointment details and patient instructions.
• Educate patients on the referral process and assist with paperwork.
• Maintain electronic records of referrals and authorizations.
• Prepare reports for clinic management and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform light data entry and other duties as assigned.
