Grace Health is seeking a referral coordinator to manage specialty and diagnostic referrals, verify insurance, and obtain prior authorizations as needed. You will coordinate appointments, communicate with patients and providers, and document in the EMR system.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, attention to detail, and teamwork with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth care transitions for Grace Health patients in southeastern Kentucky.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience with referrals and authorizations preferred.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• RMA or CMA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all aspects of specialty and/or diagnostic referrals in a timely manner.
• Check diagnosis codes to ensure medical necessity and insurance guidelines.
• Call and schedule tests and inform patients of locations and times.
