Job summary

Baltimore County's Housing and Community Development department seeks a Rental Subsidy Supervisor to lead reexaminations for the Housing Choice Voucher program. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with HUD regulations, and support efficient operations across the unit.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience, with a focus on eligibility determinations and program compliance; professional certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of progressively responsible experience in federally assisted housing programs, public housing administration, eligibility determination, or program compliance.
• Additional relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of annual and interim reexamination activities.
• Supervise staff assignments and balance workloads to ensure timely processing.
• Develop and monitor productivity benchmarks and performance expectations.
• Review aging reports and identify overdue certifications for intervention.
• Implement workflow improvements to reduce delays and improve efficiency.
• Conduct recurring pipeline meetings to monitor progress.
