Job summary

Baltimore County seeks a Rental Subsidy Supervisor - Reexaminations to oversee the Housing Choice Voucher reexamination unit under the Operations Manager. You will supervise staff, ensure timely determinations, and maintain HUD regulatory compliance while coordinating with participants, landlords, and internal teams.

Bachelor’s degree plus four years of federally assisted housing experience is required; supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in federally assisted housing programs, public housing administration, eligibility determination, or program compliance.
• Additional relevant experience may substitute education on a year-for-year basis.
• Two years of supervisory, lead worker, or team management experience.
• Housing Specialist Certification within 1 year of employment.
• Program Management Certification within 1 year of employment.
• HUD eligibility/compliance certifications, NSPIRE certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the reexamination unit and ensure timely processing.
• Provide training, coaching, and technical guidance to staff on reexaminations.
• Ensure compliance with HUD regulations, agency policies, and the Administrative Plan.
• Monitor performance, prepare reports, and identify areas for workflow improvements.
• Serve as a point of contact for participants, landlords, and internal stakeholders.
