Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conducts family interviews in person, by telephone, or by mail.
• Gathers documents from families and third parties per regulations.
• Calculates income, assets and expenses per federal/state rules.
• Determines program eligibility, denials and terminations as applicable.
• Briefs families on program requirements and rent subsidies; negotiates rent amounts.
• Maintains program records and completes status reports.
• Outreach to landlords, families, and supportive agencies.
