Job summary

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office is operating a Re-Entry program to assist individuals with a healthy transition back into the community upon release from jail. This Inmate Release Coordinator role at the Adult Detention Center engages the public through networking, meetings, and occasional public speaking, with a starting pay of $23.26/hour and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
• Two years of experience dealing with substance abuse or mental health issues, preferably in detention or correctional settings.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains filing, indexing and cross-referencing systems.
• Coordinates meetings and takes minutes.
• Researches and stays updated with state directives and statutes.
• Advocates for inmates regarding substance abuse and/or mental health treatment.
• Coordinates release coordination with detention personnel.
