Job summary

Durham County Government is seeking a LOCAL REENTRY COUNCIL COORDINATOR to manage contract compliance for reentry projects and coordinate interlinked services. The role reports to the Justice Services Department and works with the Local Reentry Council to reduce recidivism among program participants.

The position requires a bachelor's degree and at least two years of related experience, with proficiency in MS Office and data reporting. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public/administration, sociology, criminal justice or related field; plus two years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Durham County resources and ability to connect providers.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison to service providers and contracts.
• Assists in data collection and grant reporting.
• Assists in financial reporting and invoice processing.
• Prepares and presents reports to leadership and boards.
• Coordinates reentry initiatives for the Justice Services Department.
• Conducts client intakes and provides case management.
• Occasional evening/weekend work for events.
