Job summary

Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Washington seeks a Reentry Coordinator for the Prison Outreach program in Prince George's County, MD. You will coordinate activities, recruit and train mentors, and work with probation, parole, and community partners to support returning citizens.

The role requires collaboration with staff and volunteers to develop goals, assess needs, and ensure successful reintegration and community safety. Hybrid work arrangement and programmatic support are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, human services or related field.
• 2 years’ experience working in corrections and/or with incarcerated and Returning Citizens.
• Experience recruiting, training, managing, and supporting volunteers.
• Security and background clearances to work in local correction facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of the Prison Outreach program in Prince Georges County, MD.
• Recruit, train, and engage mentors who volunteer to support participants.
• Match mentors with mentees and monitor program progress and outcomes.
• Educate partners and staff about the Prison Outreach program and procedures.
• Maintain records and ensure required reports and audits are completed.
