Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in criminal justice, human services or a related field.
• 2 years' experience in corrections, or with returning citizens, preferred.
• Experience recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers.
• Security and background clearances for local facilities required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of Prison Outreach program serving Prince Georges County.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteer mentors; ensure proper background checks.
• Collaborate with probation, parole, and community organizations to identify mentees.
• Maintain records, reports, and data related to program activities and outcomes.
• Engage religious and community partners to recruit mentors and resources.
