Job summary

Garfield County in Rifle, Colorado seeks a Criminal Justice Case Manager to oversee case management for sentenced offenders within the Criminal Justice Services Department. You will assess client needs, develop supervision plans, and coordinate treatment referrals while monitoring safety and security within the Residential Division.

You will conduct progress reviews, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral sciences such as criminal justice, or a related field.
• Three years of experience in corrections, criminal justice, or a related field.
• Valid driver's license and CPR Certification.
• Must be 21 years or older; no felony convictions or disqualifying history in past seven years; no license suspensions.

Responsibilities

• Conducts case management activities with assigned clients, including orientation, development of supervision plans, and progress notes.
• Initiates and maintains accurate case documentation and written reports.
• Conducts safety and security activities, including searches, urine screenings, and location verifications.
• Assists in meetings and may provide tech support for county programs.
• Drives County vehicles to perform essential functions.
