By engaging clients, partners, and other stakeholders in the community, the Reentry Coach is able to develop successful partnerships and processes that effectively promote success for the Center’s clients and partners alike. Frequently the Coach serves as a “first contact” for clients as they begin to engage with services from the Center and may serve as a “problem solver” to help improve service delivery for clients or partners. The Reentry Coach plays an important role in helping the Site Manager set and maintain the Center’s welcoming culture of acceptance, inclusion, restoration and collective excellence. This Reentry Coach reports to the Lead Reentry Coach or Site Manager. Working evenings and on weekends may be required for this role. • Partnership support: Serve as the primary point of contact for RSC partners in their direct-service work with clients, supporting smooth and coordinated development and implementation of client service plans; help address day-to-day logistical or collaborative experiences with partner orgs; help partners make appropriate referrals to both on-site & off-site services; as needed coordinate and participate in collaborative case conference meetings.
  • Data gathering and use: Gather and enter appropriate client data at each “touch point” along a client’s journey, and support partners in the collection and reporting of information related to shared service delivery objectives.
  • Outreach: Serve as an external ambassador capable of representing the Center in public forums and community events; provide community members and stakeholders with information about the Center and directly connect with clients and prospective clients inside the County jails, community based settings, neighborhood councils, faith-based partners, and others.
