Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
• Must have previous experience as a facilitator/educator/group moderator.
• Preference given to experience within a correctional setting.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Ability to interact in a professional manner in both individual and group counseling settings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates delivery of cognitive behavioral curriculum in individual and group settings.
• Maintains class rosters, attendance records, and provides completion certificates.
• Supports assessment of participant needs and makes referrals to management.
• Provides individual and group counseling in various areas.
• Communicates with program participants regarding reentry planning.
