Job summary

The Washington State Department of Corrections seeks a Corrections Specialist 3 – RCS Coordinator in Seattle to provide reentry planning for a specialized caseload, coordinating multisystem care planning and transition processes to support community reintegration.

Responsibilities include identifying risks, developing comprehensive transition plans, collaborating with internal and external partners, and maintaining documentation of pre- and post-reentry activities, ensuring alignment with RCS

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience with case planning for justice involved individuals with behavioral health needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Teams and virtual platforms.
• Excellent time management and record keeping skills.
• Working knowledge of community mental health, housing and reentry resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide reentry planning for a specialized caseload within the Reentry Community Services program.
• Establish and coordinate the Multisystem Care Planning Team.
• Identify risk and assess treatment and community needs for Transition Plans.
• Complete transition planning per RCS Protocols and coordinate transportation as needed.
