Job summary

US Foods is seeking a qualified Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician to maintain and repair diesel fleet equipment in our maintenance facility. The role requires hands-on experience with tractors, trailers, bobtails and lift gates, plus DOT-compliant preventive maintenance.

The successful candidate will document repairs, participate in training, and may mentor other technicians. High school diploma required; travel for training may be required.

Qualifications

• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of diesel fleet equipment.
• PM program administration experience desired.
• Experience reading manuals and documenting repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and repair diesel fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance per DOT standards.
• Document repairs using fleet software tablet.
• Mentor shop personnel and support other technicians.
