Job summary

Castle Education are seeking passionate and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Scarborough, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Flexible work options allow you to choose when you work.

Roles include 1:1 support, small groups, and assistance with pupils with additional learning needs. Competitive hourly rates (£14.24–£16) with weekly PAYE and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Experience as Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEN Assistant in schools.
• Ability to work 1:1 or in small groups to support learners.
• Flexible availability for regular, part-time or ad hoc supply work.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in classroom settings.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for learners with additional needs.
• Help pupils access learning and participate in school life.

Teaching Assistant – Scarborough | £14.24-£16 per hour | Flexible Supply

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEN Support Assistant looking for flexible work in Scarborough? Castle Education are looking for passionate and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Scarborough, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Whether you are looking for regular work, a few days each week or occasional supply work around your existing commitments, we can offer the flexibility to choose when you work.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils:

• Across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• On a 1:1 basis
• In small groups
• Within a classroom environment
• With additional learning needs or SEN
• With communication and interaction difficulties
• With behavioural or emotional needs
• To develop confidence and independence
• To access learning and participate fully in school life
