Preble Street in Portland, ME seeks a Caseworker for the Recuperative Care Program. This full-time, day shift position provides direct services and supports clients recently discharged from hospital care, helping them recover in a 15-bed, 24-hour trauma-informed facility.

Job Location: Preble Street - PORTLAND, ME 04101. Position Type: Full Time. At the Recuperative Care Program, Preble Street works in partnership with Greater Portland Health and Maine Medical Center in an innovative program that provides medical services and social services to people experiencing homelessness who have been discharged from hospital care, offering a safe, supportive environment in which to recover in a 15-bed, 24-hour trauma-informed care facility.
A Caseworker position with a daytime shift is available on the Recuperative Care Program Team. RCP Caseworkers support and facilitate the continued recovery of clients receiving medical and behavioral health care by providing direct services, maintaining a safe environment and ensuring staff coverage in the program, and performing comprehensive case management services.
This is a full-time, 1st shift position with the schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 07:00am - 3:30pm.
The hourly rate of pay for this full-time (40 hours/week) position is $23.82 per hour. As a direct service position in a 24/7 program, this position is eligible for the coverage program shift differential of $1.00 per hour for all hours actually worked between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00pm.
