New York Edge is seeking a qualified and motivated HR Recruitment Specialist for a part-time, year-long position in New York City public schools. The role focuses on sourcing, attracting, and hiring talent to fulfill NY Edge’s hiring needs, helping the organization stay competitive in the job market.

The position requires strong knowledge of recruitment marketing, ATS/HRIS proficiency, and excellent communication with Hiring Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required.
• Experience with ATS/HRIS and recruitment marketing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Search resume databases for the most fit candidates.
• Communicate with Hiring Managers to gain understanding of needs.
• Support organizational recruitment goals and objectives.
• Write and proofread job descriptions.
• Recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
• Review applicants to evaluate if they meet requirements.
• Interview candidates following NY Edge’s rules and regulations.
• Adhere to laws, rules and regulations.
• Adhere to personal data privacy regulations.
• Prepare a weekly report on tasks completed or in progress.

Summary

New York Edge is seeking a qualified and highly motivated candidate to fill the role of HR Recruitment Specialist. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for finding, sourcing, attracting and hiring talent with the goal to fulfill New York Edge’s hiring needs. As recruiting talented people is getting harder, this position will play a crucial role for our New York Edge to stay competitive in the market.

Essential Job Functions

• Search resume databases for the most fit candidates
• Communicate with Hiring Managers to gain better understanding of needs
