Job summary

The City University of New York's Queensborough Community College invites applications for the position of Recruitment Specialist in the Office of Human Resources. The role oversees recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and position management to ensure accurate and compliant processes across assigned populations.

Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will partner with hiring managers, coordinate from vacancy to onboarding, analyze metrics, provide training, and maintain HR systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.
• Experience coordinating recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and position management in higher education or similar complex settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with ability to build and maintain tracking reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full recruitment-to-onboarding process for assigned populations.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop position descriptions and postings.
• Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage positions in CUNYfirst (PeopleSoft) Position Management module.
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities across departments and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver training and standardized process documentation.
