Job summary

Capital City Nurses, a Care Advantage Inc brand, is seeking a Recruitment & Employment Specialist to build and lead our caregiver team in Virginia. This office-based role requires in-office presence in Alexandria, with one mandatory day per week in Sterling.

You will drive recruitment strategy, screen and onboard candidates, and design retention programs that reflect our values of Compassion, Attitude, Respect, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment strategy across job fairs, referrals, and networks.

• Maintain personnel files, oversee screenings, and support HR compliance.

This is not a remote or Hybrid position, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm in our office in Alexandria VA. this role is required to spend at least 1 day pr week in or Sterling VA office as well.

• Lead the charge on recruitment strategy - from job fairs to referral networks, you'll be everywhere caregivers are.
• Spot talent fast - screen, interview, and onboard candidates who embody our values of Compassion, Attitude, Respect, and Excellence.
• Keep the team thriving - launch recognition programs, track turnover, and design retention strategies that keep caregivers engaged.
• Be the culture champion - deliver warm, inspiring orientations that make every new hire feel like family.
• Own compliance & HR essentials - maintain personnel files, oversee screenings, and ensure we're always audit-ready.
• Stay agile - jump in to support on‑call needs, resolve challenges quickly, and keep operations running smoothly.
