Job summary

Permanent People Rec2Rec in Manhattan is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join a high-performing recruitment team. You will focus on building relationships with clients and candidates, driving revenue in a full-desk environment, and managing end-to-end recruitment processes.

The role is based in NYC with hybrid work (1–2 days from home). You will source, screen and place candidates across Technology, Finance and related sectors, supported by a collaborative team and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• At least 1.5 years 360/full desk recruitment agency experience.
• Experience in Technology, Finance, Sales, B2B Marketing, Data/Product sectors preferred.
• Have a network within NYC/East Coast.
• Strong business development and candidate generation skills.
• Energetic and able to evidence a successful billing history.
• Must be living in the NYC area; office-based role.

Responsibilities

Permanent People are currently working with an established international staffing agency, based in Manhattan, who are looking to hire experienced, full desk/360 recruitment professionals.

What the role involves?

• Building new relationships with external clients and candidates through sales activity
• Identifying clients hiring requirements and supporting them to find the right talent
• Working in a sales, targeted environment
• Sourcing potential candidates through various channels e.g. professional networks, job boards, social media
• Screening and interviewing candidates to assess hard and soft skillsets
• Supporting and advising clients and candidates during the recruitment process
• Managing interview processes, feedback and offer stages
• Conducting contract negotiations with personnel decision-makers

Experience Needed

• You will have at least 1.5 years 360/full desk recruitment agency experience
• This will ideally be from one of the following sectors: Technology, Finance, Sales, B2B Marketing, Data / Product
• Have a network within NYC / East Coast
• Strong skills in business development and candidate generation
• Energy to deliver a first class recruitment service
• Be able to evidence a successful billing past
• Be living in the NYC area – note this is an office based recruitment role
