Job description

Job Overview

Bring Your Possibilities to Fairview

At Fairview, we believe in the power of possibility — within ourselves, our teams, and the communities we serve. We believe that leadership isn’t just a title — it’s a mindset we all share. Whether you’re providing hands-on care, innovating behind the scenes, or supporting those who do, your work matters.

As a Recruitment Specialist at Fairview, you’ll be a trusted partner in shaping high-performing teams. You’ll work closely with leaders to design smart, forward-thinking hiring strategies, lead process improvements, and drive talent initiatives that align with our mission and goals.

You’ll own the full recruitment journey—from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding—ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every candidate. While we primarily work remotely, you’ll have opportunities to connect in person for team events, job fairs, and key meetings a few times each month.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Lead recruitment activities for roles within Fairview that are of moderate visibility and difficulty, including allied health, business, and technical professions.
  2. Conduct strategy meetings with hiring managers to identify expectations, clarify processes, and provide regular updates.
  3. Serve as a subject matter expert on recruitment trends, resources, processes, and tools.
  4. Provide ongoing evaluation for responsible areas, ensuring accountability for financially solid and measurable results.
  5. Proactively communicate with stakeholders and site leadership to influence decision-making and facilitate change.
  6. Respond promptly to applicant and manager questions, providing ongoing support and education.
  7. Conduct tactical and strategic recruitment activities, including sourcing, attending or coordinating job fairs, and in-person interviews.
  8. Develop and recommend job offer details to hiring managers, including experience ratings and research on internal equity.
  9. Ensure all employment forms and documented information are complete and accurate.
  10. Deliver and negotiate job offers or rejections to candidates.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Or, in lieu of a degree, 2 years of recruitment experience within healthcare or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of recruitment experience.
  • Experience with process improvement.
  • Fluency in at least one applicant tracking system.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MA-HRIR or MBA.
  • 3 years of healthcare experience in a multi-union, multi-site environment.
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification.
Benefit Overview

Fairview offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, PTO, tuition reimbursement, retirement plans, early wage access, and more. For additional details, visit: https://www.fairview.org/careers/benefits/noncontract

Compensation

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual pay offered depends on factors like skills, education, experience, and market conditions. Our organization values pay equity and considers internal equity when making offers. Hiring at the maximum of the range is uncommon.
